Why we exist
Vision 2030 turned AI readiness into a board-level expectation. Almost overnight, every organization needed an answer to a hard question — are we actually ready, and can we prove it? Two industries rushed to answer it, and both left a gap.
The consultants measure, then leave. You get a maturity score in a slide deck — delivered, presented, and forgotten. Nothing is built, nobody is trained, and a quarter later the number is already stale.
The vendors build demos that don't land. Impressive models that work in a sandbox but never reach daily operations, because no one fixed the data underneath, the process around them, or the standard they're held to.
wedyan was built to close that gap. We do both halves of the job — the diagnosis and the cure — with no hand-off in between. We assess readiness with the rigour of a national-grade framework, then prepare the data, build the tools the assessment reveals, and engineer for the last mile so AI gets used, not shelved.
That's the whole idea behind the name. Wedyan (وديان) means valleys — the riverbeds that water carves through hard ground over time. It doesn't force a path. It finds one, and paves it. So do we.

The name & the mark
Valleys, or riverbeds. Water that carves a way through the hardest ground — patient, persistent, and certain to arrive. It's the opposite of the hype cycle: not a flood that passes, but a path that lasts. Our tagline says it plainly — we pave the way.

The logo is a W rendered as an altimeter dial inside a rising arc — the same 0-to-5 climb we measure on every dimension. The node at the arc's tip is your current altitude; the gradient is the distance still to gain.
We'd rather tell you a hard truth early than sell you an easy story. Most organizations score lower than they think — the ones that climb started by being honest about where they stood.
We assess on your infrastructure and keep your data in the Kingdom by default. Scoring your readiness never means handing us custody of your data.
Our model is our own, built on the structure of Saudi's national AI framework. We don't claim official endorsement — what we bring is that structure's rigour plus the hands to act on it.
