وديان — wedyan — is the Arabic plural of wadi: valleys. The routes that water and people have always followed through hard terrain.
Why valleys. A wadi is the path of least resistance carved through difficult ground — exactly what an AI roadmap should be. We find the route, clear it, and walk it with you.
The line. We pave the way. In Arabic: نُمهّد الطريق. It carries both meanings — we prepare the ground, and we lead the route.
Writing the name. Always lowercase: wedyan. The product platform is Masar · مسار ("path"). Domain and lockup: wedyan.ai.
One idea, three parts: the letter, the gauge, the position. The logo is the method in miniature.
wedyan's initial, drawn as a clean angular skeleton with a node at every vertex. Five nodes, one connected system. This is who carries you.
The arc around the W is a maturity gauge. It fills as readiness rises — the visible measure of the climb from 0 to 5.
The bright point on the arc marks present position. Every engagement starts by finding it honestly, then moving it.
Give the mark room and never starve it. Clear space equals the gauge's stroke height on every side; below 24px, switch to the simplified favicon.
Keep the dashed margin (x) free of type, edges and other marks.
Below 24px the full mark loses its skeleton — use wedyan-favicon.svg instead.
One mark, dressed for every surface: full-colour on dark, reversed one-colour, on gradient, and locked up with the wordmark.
The mark holds its meaning only when it stays intact. Six things never to do.
A deep violet-on-void system. Purple for intelligence, magenta and indigo for the gradient's lift, near-black to let it glow.
Sora for display, Inter for text, IBM Plex Sans Arabic for العربية. Geometric, modern, bilingual by default.
Headlines & the wordmark. Weights 500–700, tight tracking (−0.02em).
Body, UI and captions. Weights 400–600, comfortable 1.6 line-height.
All Arabic text, RTL. Matched weight and colour to the Latin set.
We sound like a rigorous guide: plain, specific, confident. We measure before we promise.
Short verbs, no jargon. If a board member can't repeat it, rewrite it.
We cite scores, levels and proof — not "transformative" and "cutting-edge".
We name the hard parts and the route through them. Honest before optimistic.
One signature move: the gauge fills. Plus a single, consistent line system for icons.
On load and on progress, the arc draws from empty to full — 1.9s, ease-in-out. Used once per view, never looped in product UI.
2px strokes, round caps and joins, on a 24px grid. Single-weight, monochrome accent — they sit beside the mark, never compete with it.
